LokOS Mobile App v2.3.0 Released: Key UX and Functionality Enhancements

We are pleased to announce the release of the LokOS Mobile App v2.3.0 and LokOS-Training Mobile App v2.3.0. This update is successfully rolled out to all users and introduces several key enhancements and bug fixes.

1. Duplicate Entries & Calendar Issues Resolved: One of the noteworthy updates is the resolution of duplicate EC member entries and deletion issues. The app now effectively handles the deletion of these entries, while also rectifying restrictions related to date availability when adding members to the calendar. This improvement enhances data integrity across the platform.

2. SHG Synchronisation & Upload Fixes: The update has significantly improved the synchronisation process for unmapped SHGs, ensuring they are accurately reflected in reporting features. The error message stating “Something went wrong” during SHG uploads has also been resolved. Additionally, a new alert dialog has been added to inform users about successful or failed SHG mapping attempt in the app, enhancing the user experience

3. Bank Account Validation Improvements: To prevent common bank details issues for SHGs, such as the creation of multiple primary accounts and duplicate bank account numbers, validations have been improved in this update. The account opening date will now correspond with the SHG formation date, thereby enhancing compliance and accountability. Additional validations for office bearer roles at both the SHG and member levels have also been implemented, ensuring that roles and responsibilities are properly managed.

4. SHG Bank Account Fixes: This update also addresses a major challenge associated with primary accounts added by the SHGs. It resolves the issue where previously added accounts were not updated correctly and the primary tag was mistakenly removed, ensuring a smoother experience overall.

5. Data Management & Download Issues Fixed: Furthermore, the app also addresses the previously encountered data management issues, such as SHG profiles disappearing during navigation or data downloads. It has also rectified the issue causing failure when downloading complete SHG data in the app. A particularly frustrating issue that blocked users from re-entering bank details has also been resolved.

6. UI Enhancements: The visual experience of the app has also been enhanced. It features a dark colour scheme for the top bar during image cropping, adding a modern touch to the user interface. The previously reported issue of the “SHG Resolution Copy” icon not appearing after saving SHG details has also been rectified, further streamlining navigation within the app.

With these ongoing enhancements, LokOS is becoming a more user-friendly platform day by day, bringing SHGs closer to the vision of a digital India. By improving overall functionality, addressing core challenges, and incorporating feedback from on-ground teams, LokOS directly contributes to strengthening the SHG network and advancing the mission of NRLM.
