In a significant development, the LokOS – Profile module has been successfully launched in nine states, including Bihar, Daman and Diu & DNH, Goa, Kerala, Ladakh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. This marks a crucial step towards enhancing the efficiency and accessibility of profile data for Members, SHGs, VOs, and CLEs.
Commencing from 1st April 2023, live data entry will be initiated in the remaining states, excluding West Bengal, Assam, and Himachal Pradesh. The migration of existing profile data from NRLM MIS to LokOS will be carried out during this transition.
LokOS boasts a comprehensive option for making changes to profile data, ensuring accuracy and completeness in capturing essential information. While the LokOS transaction modules for SHGs, VOs, and CLIs are currently in the pilot stage, live entry will commence once the profile data is successfully compiled at the block level.
Acknowledging the substantial training requirements for staff and community-level facilitators, DAY-NRLM has enlisted the support of 400+ eMaster Trainers (eMTs) in collaboration with the National Resource Organisation (NRO) from states such as Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Telangana. The NRO will cover the resource fee and travel costs for eMTs, with states responsible for managing local travel, food, and stay expenditures for those arriving from NRO states.
This support initiative has been implemented in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Gujarat, with a commitment to extend the same support to the remaining states. The National team remains in continuous communication with the LokOS nodal person of each state, ensuring seamless coordination and support throughout the implementation process.
